                                                Scientific: Quercus falcata      

Leaf:       Type:               

                   1. Vein : Pinnate

                    2. Apex: One big point, with three points.

                    3. Margin: Round edges, with jagged edges.

                    4. Base: The edges on the leaf get smaller as you go down.

                        Venation: Pinnate         

                         Arrangement: Alternate

Flower: No       Male: It doesn’t bear their fruit.            

                        Description: I couldn’t find that there was.        

Red oak LeafFruit: Yes

                        Description: They can bear fruit, there isn’t any on my tree.       

Twig: They grow in different angles.      

Bark: A greenish brown color with a kind of moss growing on it.

Form: The branches are about five to 6 feet off the ground.

 Uses: It is a hard wood, so they would use it to make furniture.
Origin:

Distribution: In some parts of Canada they live in a 10 degree climate.
