                      Description: The fruit is an acorn.

Twig: A fat long twig.

 Bark: rigid

 Form: The branches are a couple feet off the ground.

 Discussion:

Uses: Cabinets, ship- building, fencepost, fuel, tight cooperage.

Origin (location): It’s found all over the U.S.                                                                

Distribution: In the zones 3-8.
