Pre-K
The Pre-Kindergarten religion curriculum is a two-part program. The three year old class is introduced to Bible heroes from the Old and New Testament. The four-year-old class uses Gospel Weeklies called Seeds , which follows readings and activities through the Catholic year.
Kindergarten
The Faith First kindergarten religion instruction includes such concepts as: recognizing that God made each person different and that God loves all people.
1st Grade
The religion curriculum for the first grade is divided into three parts: doctrine, scripture and liturgical seasons.
2nd Grade
Second grade is a very special time in a Catholic student's life. The sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion are made this year.
3rd Grade
The third grade religion series Faith First focuses on a deeper understanding of the sacraments, liturgical seasons, commandments, saints and Sacred Scripture.
4th Grade
The Faith First curriculum is divided into four units of study: creed, worship life of the church, morality, understanding the meaning of prayer.
5th Grade
In fifth grade religion, students cover a wide variety of topics. Content includes: creation, divine revelation, the Holy Trinity, and the Israelites.
6th Grade
The first unit of study in sixth grade religion deals with the creed- what we believe as Catholic Christians.
7th Grade
The seventh grade religion program is the first part of a two-year program based on the four pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
8th Grade
The junior high religion program is the second part a two-year program based on the four pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
